In January we are going to be comparing notes on Erlang, so we need to choose a book for February. As usual, list your 3 choices in order in the comments. Please note that international observers have already condemned our voting process as neither free nor fair.

My 3 preference list is as follows:
1. The Pragmatic Programmer: From Journeyman to Master by Andrew Hunt and David Thomas
2. Behind Closed Doors: Secrets of Great Management by Johanna Rothman (Author), Esther Derby (Author)
3. Release It! by Michael Nygard
1. The Responsibility Virus by Roger Martin
2. Beautiful Code edited by Andy Oram
3. The Pragmatic Programmer by Andrew Hunt and David Thomas
I see three versions of The Responsibility Virus by Roger Martin at Amazon – which one is being suggested?
Beautiful Code and Pragmatic Programmer both look interesting to me.
Graham – I’m assuming that all three versions of that book at Amazon are much the same.
1. Beautiful Code edited by Andy Oram
2. Release It! by Michael Nygard
3. I have already read The Pragmatic Programmer a few years ago, but don’t mind re-reading it as a quick flick through shows it would be worth a second read.
